Central American authorities say flooding caused by more than a week of heavy rains has killed at least 97 people across the region.
Officials say at least 36 people died in Guatemala, 32 in El Salvador, 13 in Honduras, 12 in Nicaragua and four in Costa Rica.
In El Salvador, the flooding pushed The Lempa and The Grande rivers over their banks, damaging farmlands.
On Wednesday, the United Nations said it approved a $50,000 grant to help El Salvador's immediate response to the flooding.
The United Nations says the Central American flooding has affected hundreds of thousands of people.
Health officials are also concerned about outbreaks of waterborne viruses and food shortages because of the widespread flooding.
