The Islamist militant group al-Shabab still poses a threat to peace in Somalia. VOA East Africa correspondent Gabe Joselow says that while the group is not as strong as it was before being pushed out of major cities, al-Shabab still controls parts of the country. Gabe talks about his recent reporting trip to Somalia, one year after major tensions in the country first began to settle down.
