Many Cambodians like "Kantrim" music from the Khmer-populated area of Surin, in Northeast Thailand. They sing and dance to the music on special occasions, such as parties or New Year's. During a visit to the US, Kantrim singer Jane SaiJai, whose popular songs include "Dark Face Daughter of Famers" and "We Are All Khmer," stopped by VOA Khmer in Washington, where she discussed her music and future plans with the service's Im Sothearith.
