    Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner, World War II hero, inspirational speaker and the subject of a book and upcoming movie has died in California at the age of 97. His family announced Thursday that he died after fighting pneumonia. Zlatica Hoke reports a film inspired by Zamperini's resilience and directed by Angelina Jolie is due for release late this year.
