But they usually do not make the news until something particularly sensational occurs: such as when a python is videotaped regurgitating a grown dog or one emerges from a toilet and tries to drag a woman back down the drain. VOA correspondent Steve Herman reports from Bangkok about the remarkable success of one fireman committed to driving the snakes out of the city.
