Kachin Refugee Camp in Burma
Kachin refugee camp in Kachin state in northern Burma, which houses 400 internally displaced persons, is run by a Catholic church aid group and receives regular donations of food and other aid from international organizations such as the UN's World Food Program. The refugees are from villages that were either directly affected by fighting or were too close to fighting for comfort. VOA ‘s Daniel Schearf went to the camp on March 30, 2012, and took the photos.
