U.S. President-elect Donald Trump says he will "simultaneously" repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

In an interview slated to air on 60 Minutes on CBS-TV Sunday night, Trump said the revised plan "will be great health care for much less money."

Trump, who has been a staunch critic of Obamacare said he would like to keep at least two provisions from the current plan: the inclusion of people with pre-existing conditions and adult children, up to the age of 26, who live with their parents on the parents health care plan.

Trump also told 60 Minutes correspondent Lesley Stahl that he thinks social media is "a great form of communication . . . I'm not saying I love it, but it does get the word out" to his 28 million followers.

He credited social media with helping him win the presidential election. "It helped me win races where they spent much more money than I spent . . . Social media has more power than the money they spent and I think to a certain extent, I proved that."

President-elect Trump, who issued numerous Twitter rants during the campaign, said he would be "very restrained" about using it while in the White House, "if I use it at all."
