At least 36 people have been killed when a bus plunged more than 15 meters off a major highway in southern Italy and landed in a ravine.
Rescue workers at the scene Sunday said 11 people have been pulled alive from the wreckage and taken to a hospital, some with serious injuries.
The bus was carrying around 50 people back to Naples from a pilgrimage in the southern region of Campania.
The reason for the crash was not immediately clear.
