Officials in Mexico say five soldiers were killed when two military helicopters collided in flight near a military base Tuesday.
Witnesses at the scene report the helicopters were maneuvering near the Santa Lucia military base when they struck each other, burst into flames and fell to the ground.
Military officials have not said what may have caused the accident.
