A Lebanese lawmaker wounded in the February bombing in Beirut that killed former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri has died of his injuries.

Former Lebanese minister of economy Bassel Fleihan passed away Monday in a hospital in Paris.

Mr. Fleihan was riding in the car with Mr. Hariri on February 14 when a huge bomb detonated outside their motorcade. The blast instantly killed the former prime minister.

Mr. Fleihan, one of Mr. Hariri's top aides, suffered severe burns over most of his body.

Reports from Beirut say Mr. Fleihan is the 21st victim to die as a result of the bombing.
