Pistons Even NBA Eastern Conference Finals at 2-2

In the National Basketball Association's Eastern Conference finals, Richard Hamilton scored 28 points and Rasheed Wallace added 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as the Detroit Pistons beat the Miami Heat 106-96.

Detroit dominated the first half, sinking 22 of 42 shots while Miami struggled. In the second half, the Pistons sank their first seven shots while holding the Heat to just one point over the final 5:30.

Dwayne Wade led Miami with 29 points and Shaquille O'Neal added 12.

The victory evens the best of seven series at two games apiece. Game 5 of the series is Thursday in Miami.

The NBA Western Conference Finals resume Wednesday night as the Phoenix Suns play the San Antonio Spurs. San Antonio leads the series, 3-1.
