The draw has been held for the European playoffs with Spain taking on Slovakia, Switzerland hosting Turkey, and Norway playing the Czech Republic for berths in next year's World Cup.

The two-leg playoffs will be played November 12 and 16. All six teams finished in second place in their qualifying groups.

The Switzerland-Turkey game in Berne takes place on the same day England and Argentina are playing a friendly match in nearby Geneva.

The Czech Republic will visit Norway in the first match of their series. Norway and the Czech Republic last met each other in the European Championship 96 qualifiers with the teams drawing 1-1 in Oslo before the Czechs won 2-0 in Prague.
