Charles, Camilla to Visit Hurricane Ravaged New Orleans

Britain's Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, are set to visit the hurricane-ravaged city of New Orleans as they continue their tour of the United States.

The royal couple will lay a wreath at the World War II Memorial in Washington early Friday and visit the Folger Shakespeare Library before boarding a plane for the U.S. southwestern state of Louisiana.

In New Orleans, Prince Charles and Camilla are expected to see damage caused by Hurricane Katrina first-hand and meet residents and recovery workers.

On Thursday, the royal couple visited the National Institutes of Health for a seminar on osteoporosis in Washington. Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is president of Britain's National Osteoporosis Society.

Prince Charles also accepted an award at the National Building Museum for his contribution to architectural understanding.
