Palestinian medics say Israeli tank fire killed a militant and three members of his family in Gaza City Friday.
The Israeli army says it fired on the militant's house after two men armed with an anti-tank missile were seen on the property.
The deaths bring the number of Palestinians killed since Israeli forces began their Gaza operation late last month to at least 106.
Earlier Friday, Israeli forces withdrew from a central Gaza refugee camp after a three-day operation killed 14 Palestinians, including several militants.
Israel says the military offensive will continue until a captured soldier is freed and Palestinian militants end their rocket attacks. On Thursday, it warned that civilian homes used to hide weapons or militants would be attacked.
On Thursday, U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan called for an immediate cease-fire in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip last year, after 38 years of occupation.
