Federer, Nadal to Meet in Next Year's Davis Cup

The draw has been held for next year's Davis Cup men's tennis competition with Switzerland and Spain to face off in a series that will feature another duel between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Nadal holds a 6-2 advantage over the top-ranked Federer, including a win in this year's French Open final. However, Federer beat the second-ranked Nadal in their last match at this year's Wimbledon final.

In other best-of-five match series, the United States plays the Czech Republic. The Americans were eliminated from this year's semifinals, losing to Russia, 3-2.

Also in 2007, Australia plays Belgium, Russia takes on Chile, and Argentina faces Austria in the first round. Argentina plays Russia for this year's Davis Cup December first to third in Russia.

Other matches have 2005 champion Croatia taking on Germany, France facing Romania, and Sweden playing Belarus. The first-round ties are scheduled for February 9 -11.
