NBA: Anthony, Iverson Lead Nuggets to Win Over Grizzlies


Carmelo Anthony teamed up with his new teammate Allen Iverson for the first time to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 115-98 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

In his return from a 15-game suspension for fighting, Anthony had 28 points. Iverson scored 23.

The Miami Heat scored a franchise-record 27 consecutive points in beating the New York Knicks 101 to 83.

In Boston, the San Antonio Spurs extended their 18-game winning streak with a 93 to 89 victory over the Celtics, who have not beaten the Spurs since 1997.

Jermaine O'Neal had 22 points and 10 rebounds in leading the Indiana Pacers over the Chicago Bulls 98 to 91. The win snapped a four-game losing streak and was the Pacers' first victory since their eight-player deal last week.

The Orlando Magic ended their own five-game losing streak by beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 90-79. Orlando's Grant Hill netted 22 points.

Chris Bosh scored 20 and Jose Calderon added a season-high 19 with 11 assists to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 105-84 win over the Charlotte Bobcats.
