African Football Legend Kalusha Bwalya Tipped For Zimbabwe Warriors Coach

Former Zambian soccer captain and African football legend Kalusha Bwalya is tipped to take over as chief coach of Zimbabwe's Warriors national squad.

The position has been empty since June, when the Zimbabwe Football Association dissolved all national coaching positions and sacked coach Charles Mhlauri outright after the Warriors failed to qualify for the 2008 Africa Cup Of Nations in Ghana.

Sports commentator Michael Kariati told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye that ZIFA Chairman Wellington Nyatanga and his board put off naming a coach last month, indicating Bwalya was a favorite to replace Mhlauri ahead of the 2010 World Cup.
