Cross-country skiers Lukas Bauer of the Czech Republic and Marit Bjoergen of Norway have won the second legs of the eight-race Tour de Ski competition in Nové Mesto, the Czech Republic.
Bauer, who also won Friday's opening prologue, took the men's 15-kilometer freestyle pursuit race in 34 minutes, 53.5 seconds. Marcus Hellner of Sweden finished second, 47 seconds back with another Swede, Anders Soedergren, third, 0.9 seconds behind his countryman.
Bauer leads the Tour de Ski standings after two of eight races with Hellner second and Soedergren third.
In the women's 10-kilometer freestyle pursuit race, Bjoergen finished in 26 minutes, 17.2 seconds. Charlotte Kalla of Sweden was second, just 0.20 seconds back with Justyna Kowalczyk of Poland third, 7.2 seconds off the leader.
Bjoergen leads the overall women's standings with Charlotte Kalla of Sweden second and Kowalczyk third.
The Tour de Ski moves to Prague Sunday and then back to Nové Mesto on January first and second. The Tour then goes to Asiago for competition on January fourth and ends in Val di Fiemme, Italy January fifth and sixth. The overall time winner receives 400 World Cup points.
