Cameroon has beaten Sudan, 3-0, while defending champion Egypt and Zambia played to a 1-1 draw at the African Cup of Nations football tournament in Ghana.
Samuel Eot'o of Cameroon scored twice for the Indomitable Lions, in the 28th and 93rd minutes, while Mohammed Ali Khider scored an own goal for Sudan.
Eto'o became the top goal scorer in tournament history (15) with his first goal. The win gives Cameroon six points in Group-C, one point behind Group leader Egypt.
The Egyptians played a tough match with Zambia, with the goals scored at either end of the game. Amr Zaki scored for Egypt in the 16th minute and Chris Katongo scored the game-tying goal in the 89th minute for Zambia.
Both Egypt and Cameroon qualify for the tournament quarterfinals as the top two finishers in Group-C.
