Americans Debate Legal Drinking Age

Eighteen or 21? That is the question. The issue of the legal drinking age in the United States is back. It had been decided by the individual states. But in 1984 considerable pressure from the states, parents and safety organizations convinced President Ronald Reagan to sign a bill making the nationwide drinking age 21. A minority of educators now want it lowered. But there are those who vow never to let it happen. Bernie Shusman reports.
