Authorities in Peru said a fiery crash between a passenger bus and a gasoline tanker has killed at least 20 people.
The collision happened around midnight Monday on a highway in the southern province of Canete, about 165 kilometers south of the capital city of Lima.
Authorities said it appears the bus slammed into the gasoline tanker, causing the vehicles to burst into flames.
Police said seven of the eight survivors suffered injuries.
Authorities said the bus was traveling from Lima to the southern city of Pisco when the crash happened.
