The head of Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation has resigned amid questions about his sexuality.
Alum Mpofu cited personal reasons for his resignation Tuesday, after allegations that he was caught in a compromising situation with another man recently.
President Robert Mugabe has repeatedly voiced his distaste for homosexuals, calling them, in his words, "worse than pigs."
Mr. Mpofu left his job with the South African Broadcasting Corporation last year to take the job with ZBC.
