Spanish cyclist Angel Vicioso has led a three-man breakaway to win the Miguel Indurain Grand Prix race in Estella, Spain for the second year in a row.
Vicioso edged countryman Marcos Serrano and Belgium's Mario Aerts to win the 179-kilometer race in four hours, 28 minutes, 18 seconds. The trio pulled away from a 25-rider pack on the final climb of the race (the Alto de Lezuan).
Near the end of the race, Vicioso, Serrano and Aerts were ahead by nearly a minute, but the pack drew within 17 seconds of the leaders by the end of the ride.
