Court Orders Arrest Warrant Reinstated for Milosevic's Widow

A Serbian court has reinstated an arrest warrant for the widow of former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic.

Mira Markovic failed to appear before the Belgrade District Court Thursday, prompting authorities to reinstate the order.

Markovic's warrant was suspended earlier this month to allow her to attend her late husband's funeral without risking arrest. But she did not attend.

Milosevic's widow is wanted on charges of abuse of power. She has lived in self-imposed exile in Russia since 2003.
