The online auction site eBay will continue to have black market tickets available for next year's World Cup football finals in Germany.
The organizing committee had asked eBay not to sell World Cup tickets, but the auction site pointed out that no one was breaking the law. While committee president Franz Beckenbauer said they are looking at legal steps, he does not think they will find any.
Organizers have warned fans of buying tickets on eBay. Each ticket bears the name of the purchaser, and organizers have said there will be random checks in front of stadiums. Fans with tickets not in their names might not be allowed into the games.
World Cup tickets started to appear on eBay just a few days after the first batch became available to football fans around the world.
