update

Hillary Clinton accepted the Democratic Party's nomination for president Thursday night with a message stressing the need to unite in order to confront the nation's challenges. "It truly is up to us," she said.

Singer and songwriter Carole King takes the stage and gives a shout-out to Idaho.

A video is playing, of people speaking to their hopes and dreams for their daughters.

Duckworth speaks about her daughter: "My Abigail already knows women can fly helicopters in combat. And in 102 days, when we elect Hillary, my daughter's first memories of a president will be of a woman." The crowd cheers.
