LIVE BLOG: Hillary Clinton Accepts Democratic Nomination

update

Hillary Clinton accepted the Democratic Party's nomination for president Thursday night with a message stressing the need to unite in order to confront the nation's challenges. "It truly is up to us," she said.

Duckworth says, "By the way, Donald Trump, I didn't put my life on the line to defend our democracy so you could invite Russia to interfere in it. You are not fit to be commander-in-chief."

On Wednesday, Trump urged Russia to search for Hillary Clinton's "missing emails," an action that has brought bipartisan criticism.

Duckworth speaks about her daughter: "My Abigail already knows women can fly helicopters in combat. And in 102 days, when we elect Hillary, my daughter's first memories of a president will be of a woman." The crowd cheers.
