Grenade Attack Wounds 10 in Kenya

Officials in southern Kenya say a grenade attack at a crowded restaurant in Mombasa has wounded at least 10 people.

Authorities said someone threw the grenade from outside the building and sped away on a motorcycle. They said it was not clear who was behind the attack, and there has been no immediate claim of responsibility.

Kenya has been hit by multiple terrorist attacks since sending troops to help neighboring Somalia battle the militant group al-Shabab.

Last month, an unidentified man hurled a grenade at a van carrying two British tourists in Mombasa, but the device failed to detonate.
