The man accused of killing a British soldier in a suspected terrorist attack has arrived at a London courthouse.
A police van whisked Michael Adebowale, 22, into a courthouse garage Thursday before a throng of cameras.
Police charged him with the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby. A second man under arrest in last week's deadly stabbing is recovering from a gunshot wound in the hospital.
The two men told bystanders they were acting in retaliation against British forces killing Muslims.
Rigby, a Afghan war veteran, was 25. A makeshift memorial in his honor continues to grow near the attack site, outside a military base in the Woolwich area of London.
Police are continuing their investigation into the attack.
