U.S. President Barack Obama is calling on Congress to help him create jobs and rebuild the nation's infrastructure.
In his weekly address Saturday, Obama pointed to the start of two new high-tech manufacturing hubs and a competition to rebuild the nation's roads, bridges, mass transit, ports and railroads.
The president said a bill now before Congress would create a network of the manufacturing hubs all across the country.

Obama also said he would send Congress a budget next week that included the rebuilding of the country's transportation systems, which could lead to millions of jobs.
In the Republican address, Representative Ann Wagner of the central state of Missouri wanted the president to explain government reports that up to 11 million workers would pay higher insurance premiums because of the new health care law, commonly known as Obamacare.
