Ugandan music lovers are dancing to a new song, this time by the country's president, Yoweri Museveni.

The song and accompanying video, which were cobbled together from the president's speeches, have become something of an Internet sensation, getting tens of thousands of views on YouTube.

The song originated during a rally in October when Mr. Museveni recited an old folk song while discussing the African roots of hip-hop music.

A few days later, at another rally, the president offered a repeat performance, asking the crowd, "You want another rap?"

That question became the song's chorus and title after a local music producer strung together Mr. Museveni's words and added a backing track along with some additional vocals.

Mr. Museveni has led Uganda since his rebel group seized power in 1986. He is running for re-election in polls scheduled for February.

Some information for this report was provided by AP and AFP.
