VOA's correspondent based in Seoul, Steve Herman, tells On Assignment's Philip Alexiou about his rare opportunity to travel to North Korea in July with U.S. Korean War veteran Thomas Hudner. The 88-year-old Hudner went to North Korea to search for the remains of his co-pilot, Jesse Brown, who died after a crash landing in 1950. In addition to being Hudner's wingman, Brown was the Navy's first African-American aviator.
