Senator Corker on Syrian Peace Initiative

The United Nations initiative for the Syrian peace talks is underway in Geneva. The UN is urging for a ceasefire, even as the Syrian government forces, backed by Russian air strikes, launched their biggest offensive in a year north of Aleppo. VOA’s Senate correspondent Michael Bowman spoke with the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Republican Bob Corker about the Syrian peace initiative and other issues.
