On Greek Independence Day, Greek Americans Discuss the Refugee Crisis

The refugee crisis in Greece has cast a shadow over the Greek American community. During the Greek national Independence Day parade in Greek Town, Baltimore, Greek Americans celebrated their heritage and opened up about the challenges Greece has been facing with a sizable refugee population stranded within its borders and about the EU’s decision to start sending migrants back to Turkey.
