Bringing Girls’ Power to the Polls

Black Girls Vote is a non-profit, non-partisan organization. It encourages young African American women to become active voters. Since its inception last November, Black Girls Vote has registered more than 10,500 voters. But as Faiza Elmasry reports the organization’s bigger goal goes way beyond just mobilizing voters.
