Thomas Edison Historic Site Electrifies Parks Traveler

While his name is synonymous with the electric light bulb, Thomas Alva Edison also created hundreds of mechanical and electrical devices that revolutionized life for millions of people around the world. The house where Edison lived and worked is now a U.S. National Park Service site. National parks traveler Mikah Meyer, who's on a mission to visit all of the more than 400 sites within the National Park Service, was there and shared highlights of his visit with VOA’s Julie Taboh.
