Trump Shrinks Two National Monuments In Utah

U.S. President Donald Trump has reduced the size of two national monuments in Utah, despite the objections of Native American and other groups who want the land to remain under the federal government protection. In a speech Monday in Salt Lake City, Utah, Trump announced he is returning more than 80 percent of Bears Ears land and close to 50 percent of Grand Stairs-Escalante to the state control.
