African American Museum Shines Spotlight on Tuskegee Airmen

The National Museum of African American History and Culture opened in September on the National Mall in Washington. It houses thousands of exhibits that chronicle the journey of African Americans from the global slave trade to modern times. One of those exhibits honors the Tuskegee Airmen - the first African-American aviators - to serve in the U.S. military.
