Reports that Washington is considering deploying forces in eastern Europe and the Baltics to deter any possible Russia aggression comes as a new survey indicates many in Western Europe are reluctant to send troops to defend NATO's eastern members. The White House Monday said such a deployment -- first reported by the New York Times -- is in the early planning stages. VOA's Al Pessin reports from London on what's at stake for Europe.
