Chinese and U.S. officials say the two countries made progress during meetings between Secretary of State Antony Blinken and China's top leaders. Blinken made his first visit to China at a time of increased tensions over Taiwan, Beijing's ties to the Kremlin, and Chinese military actions that Washington has called "unsafe."
