Each year, from March through June, a small crustacean that thrives in the wetlands of Louisiana and Texas brings people together to sing, dance and eat. Crawfish, or crayfish, are a very popular food with Gulf Coast residents. VOA’s Greg Flakus reports from the annual Brazoria County Crawfish Festival, south of Houston
