Seven French Nobel prize winners received the coronavirus vaccine in Paris and Strasbourg, Monday, January 18, in a bid to reassure the public of the vaccine’s safety.

The laureates are all scientists and were invited to receive the vaccine by the immunologist coordinating France’s vaccination strategy, Alan Fischer.

French Health Minister Olivier Veran said France is on track to vaccinate a million people by the end of January. (REUTERS)
