Pompeo Defends US Agreement With Mexico to Avert Tariffs

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is defending the Trump administration's deal with Mexico to curb the flow of Central American migrants to the U.S.-Mexican border and to avert punitive tariffs on Mexico threatened by President Donald Trump. Critics say that the Friday night agreement breaks little new ground and that the initiatives were already being discussed before the president's tariff threats.
