Student Athletes in Paradise Teach Coaches Life Lessons

In the aftermath of disaster, it is sometimes the young who seem the most resilient. That is the case for high school student athletes in the town of Paradise, in Northern California. Only half of the students in the district returned after one of the deadliest and most destructive fires in the state’s history destroyed their town a year ago. Then, even as the community recovered, the high school football team experienced what could be described as a miracle season. VOA’s Elizabeth Lee has the details.
