In Address to Nation, Trump De-Escalates Tension with Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the nation Wednesday, after Iran fired more than a dozen ballistic missiles at two Iraqi air bases that house U.S. troops. The president vowed new economic sanctions and called for NATO to play a greater role in the Middle East, in remarks widely seen as an attempt to de-escalate tensions after a U.S. airstrike killed a top Iranian general.
