Jill Biden to Visit Namibia, Kenya for First Time as First Lady

Jill Biden left Tuesday for her first visit to Africa as first lady, with plans to visit the Southwest African nation of Namibia and the East African nation of Kenya. There, she will focus on women’s empowerment, children’s issues and the food insecurity that has ravaged parts of the continent.
