Obama Set to Announce Funding Increase for Clearing Old Bombs in Laos

President Barack Obama is expected to announce an increase in funding to help clear unexploded ordnance in Laos when he becomes the first sitting U.S. president to visit the Southeast Asian nation in September. During its war with Vietnam, the U.S. dropped more than 270 million cluster bombs on Laos and millions remain unexploded today. Daniel de Carteret reports for VOA from Xieng Khouang.
