WASHINGTON, DC —
As Rotary International is preparing to announce and execute its polio eradication strategy this spring, some of its members were recently invited to the White House to be recognized as "champions of change" for their contributions to ending polio worldwide.
Rotary is an international service organization made up of business and professional leaders supporting humanitarian causes. To date, it has given $1.2 billion in the fight against the crippling disease.

Ann Lee Hussey is a polio survivor just back from Nigeria where she took part in a campaign to wipe out the crippling disease.
She first described the White House event and also answers questions about her recent trip.
