7 Civilians Killed in Afghan Attacks

Officials in southern Afghanistan say a roadside bomb blast has killed six civilians.

Authorities say the vehicle hit the bomb Saturday in the Uruzgan province.

In western Afghanistan, authorities say a rocket attack in Farah province, targeting the governor's office, has killed one civilian and wounded 26 people, including children.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the assaults.
