Spicer: Kushner Served as Point of Contact for Foreign Officials During Transition

On Monday, White House press secretary Sean Spicer defended meetings Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law and a senior White House adviser, had with foreign officials during the transition by saying he was the team's liaison with foreign governments. Kushner served as the "primary point of contact" for foreign officials "throughout the campaign and transition," Spicer said during Monday's daily press briefing at the White House.
